History & Background
Signature Electric was formed in 2008 as Minnesota Electric LLC by Matt Johnson and served western MN focusing on electrical contracting in agricultural, commercial, custom residental homes & remodels. We sinced have moved our operations into North Dakota ultimately updating our name to Signature Electric Services LLC.
Matt began his career as an electrician studying electrical construction in college. Upon graduating he joined the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) JATC (Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee) apprenticeship program eventually gaining licensure as a journeyman electrician. In 2008 he achieved Master Electrican in North Dakota and a Class A Master Electrican license in Minnesota and South Dakota.
Matt also earned a B.S. in Construction Management in 2009 from Minnesota State University, has served as Vice President of a local charity, and believes in giving back to the community.
